About Frqcy

Transparency for the age of AI music

Frqcy gives artists, labels, and platforms a clear, evidence-based answer to a hard question: was this track made by a human, and how well was it produced?

Our mission

Generative tools have made it effortless to produce music that sounds convincingly human. That's exciting — but it also blurs the line between authentic performance and synthetic output. Distributors, labels, sync teams, and listeners increasingly need a trustworthy way to tell the difference.

We built Frqcy to bring that clarity. Our engine analyzes recordings across dozens of dimensions — comparing against known generation systems, measuring micro-timing and dynamics, and inspecting spectral and production fingerprints — to produce an honest, explainable assessment rather than a black-box verdict.

Just as importantly, we help human artists prove their craft. When a track shows a high probability of being human-created, creators can generate a Human Authenticity Certificate to attach to releases, submissions, and catalogs.

What we stand for

The principles that shape every analysis and every decision we make.

Evidence over guesswork

Every score is backed by measurable signals — spectral analysis, timing variation, and production fingerprints — never opaque verdicts.

Privacy by design

Your audio is yours. It's isolated to your account, never made public, and never used to train models for others without consent.

Verify human craft

We don't just catch AI — we celebrate human artistry with the Human Authenticity Certificate for tracks that prove it.

Built for scale

From a single upload to label-scale catalogs and API pipelines, the platform is engineered for precision and throughput.

The company

Frqcy is operated by Noirmusicshop LLC, based in the United States. We're a focused team obsessed with audio, machine learning, and doing right by the people who make music. We're always improving our models and welcome feedback from the community.
